During the end of each year, many of us start to look forward to next year. What will we set as goals for the next year? What do we want to accomplish? What do we want to change to get what we want next year? What challenges might we expect and how do we overcome them to achieve what we want next year? Some people might even be saying that it is time to change jobs, careers, industries, and try something else. Maybe some feel like they just need to change what they are doing for some reason so it makes it more fun and exciting to do something new and different. Wherever you are in your life, you might be feeling like you want something more – personally and professionally. How do you get to where you want to be? How do you know how to get to where you want to be?
One of the first exercises you might want to consider is The Right Life Balance Assessment (located under the resources section at www.AccountabilityCoach.com). This tool can help you gain some perspective. Another great exercise on the same website is The Quality of Life Enhancer™ Exercise. This is one of my favorite tools for helping you create an even better life.
Maybe you want to find out if a coach or coaches can help you get to where you want to be in the next year. If you do, take the Am I Coachable assessment to guide you in that decision. The Implementation Index is another tool that will assist you in this decision. If you want to find out what an Accountability Coach is and how they might play a role in your life, download the What is an Accountability Coach booklet and read it. This will help you decide if someone like this in your life, might be helpful in getting you to where you ultimately want to be – personally and professionally.
The Wheel of Life is yet another free resource available to you and it provides you with a visual representation of how balanced your life actually is at this moment in time. This then allows you to set goals around bringing those areas that might be low up to a higher number and create more balance in your life. You may have a general idea of how in balance or out of balance your life is currently, but actually obtaining that visual is powerful and very useful. There are many free tools available to help you get to where you want to be in life – take advantage of them. Make the decision to begin today.
